I am an Aquarius Sun with a Virgo Rising, and this combination can effectively reveal a lot about me to anyone interested. Essentially, I tend to prioritize following my heart rather than relying solely on logic. Throughout my entire existence, I have been on a quest to discover the true purpose and meaning of life. It has proven to be quite tiring.
I grew up on Put-in-Bay, Ohio, a 3 mile island in the middle of Lake Erie where I went to a high school with 17 other students, and had 5 other classmates that I graduated with. After that I headed to Kent State University where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Visual Communication Design, and a minor in Photography. Eventually I made my way to Arlington, Virginia where I started my career as a graphic designer and stationer.
My passion lies in translating stories into visually appealing and meaningful designs. Whether it involves working with couples to create their dream wedding invitations or collaborating with small businesses to communicate their unique narrative through custom branding, I thrive on connecting with my clients and bringing their vision to life.
I find my greatest inspiration in the beauty of natural light, the striking allure of bold patterns, and the thoughtful use of color palettes that evoke emotion. I strive to bring every detail and vision to life, turning concepts into tangible works of art. In a world where hobbies often involve collecting physical items like baseball cards or jewelry, I have cultivated a unique passion for collecting fonts and vintage stamps, appreciating the history and craftsmanship behind each piece.
In my incredibly scarce moments of freedom, you'll witness me embodying the utmost levels of professionalism in the art of homebodiness. Prepare to catch me blissfully watering my extensive plant collection (which is my other 24/7 gig), experimenting with new recipes, embarking on expeditions to Trader Joe's in pursuit of the freshest floral additions, or taking a daily walk through my neighborhood to visit all of the cats, because who needs human interaction when you have countless majestic feline acquaintances?
